The first stage of the Ukrainian Circuit Races Championship was hosted at the capital’s “Chaika” track on 25-26th of May. The competitions were held not only in the touring class. The viewers were able to see again on the track the real Formula car races. Vladimir Marchenko – the pilot of the Marchenko Racing – participated in the race. In the framework of the Championship for Circuit Races he performs as part of the “Silpo” team (Touring- Light class – Zhovtonog V., Lada-1600 class – Marchenko V., Lada-1500 class – Unashev S.).
The “Lada-1600” class brought together only five participants. Despite the reverse start, on both days the top three was unchanged: Maxim Cherednychenko, Vladimir Marchenko and Sergei Unashev.
Vladimir Marchenko took the second place in the personal offset in the two races, and the “Silpo” team upon results of two races – the 1st place in the team standings.
