EEDC / Drift Allstars combined the stages of two series – the Eastern European Drift Championship (EEDC) and the European Drift Allstars.
The race was hosted by the Trackwood track famous for its picturesque views and tricky fenders.

Alexey Golovnya (Kyiv, Blue Light)
and Vladimir Marchenko (Kyiv, Marchenko Racing)
Competition promised to be difficult, because the race brought together the best drifters in Europe!
As training progressed the track began to gradually manifest its dangerous challenges. One after another the cars crashed into scrap tires and fenders… Ukrainians also have fallen victims of these unfortunate events! In this manner Dmitriy Illyuk made a U-turn and Sergey Kabargin had crushed into his car at full speed!
However, the teams had managed to get their cars running again and both drivers continued to race.
Alexey Golovnya had problems with the turbine but their settlement did not entail any complications.
Marchenko Racing team had to put their shoulder to the wheel! Vladimir Marchenko had come into contact with a fender and damaged the mounting but the team was able to get the car back on the road fairly quickly.
As Friday evening drew closer the pilots had been expecting qualifications, the results of which showed that really strong racers had entered the race!
According to the results of qualification Vladimir Marchenko scored 78 points and took the 23rd place, and has joined Alexey Golovnya in Top-32!
Night had provided a special spectacularity to the race! Runs and crashes had been diluted by “Masters of Fire” performance!
But let’s return to the race! Top-32: Alexey Golovnya.
It was powerful and spectacular rivalry! Both drivers had shown a high drift! Judges called for a re-run!
In the third run Vladimir, trailing Alexey, did not take into account the loss of speed of Alexey’s vehicle and collided. That resulted into a sharp U-turn of both participants. The judges credited this error to Marchenko. In the second run Golovnya had to finish just behind Vladimir and he successfully did it!
Following the results of the race Dmitriy Illyuk lost ground in favour of Janis Eglite in Top-8 series while Alexey Golovnya reached the final, where he lost to Polish drifter Mateusz Włodarczyk and thus took the second place.
